This is very sad news. I to feel for the family of this person. At the same time (not speculating on cause) this brings up one of my biggest fears. That is an experimental crashing in a school yard. Thank God no one else was injured.

If memory serves me correct, this is the second RV6A built by James Cone, after his first was destroyed in a storm. Looks like it's now registered to an Arizona owner. This school is about two miles from my house, and a mile from the airport. Yes, it's a sad situation.
