From the article it looks like there were no fatalities. My friend said it was very windy. He had landed earlier in his Cirrus.

Very glad no one was seriously injured. I'm about 40nm north and it was VERY windy all day and late into the evening/night - consistently 20 knots, gusting to the low 30's.
