I'm New Here
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm 24 years old, and planning on starting the first build when school loans are paid down (figuring 4-5 years). I've been taking my time and looking over all of the various options in airplanes...initially I was thinking something like a CH801 for fishing trips and whatnot, but then I realized I'd like to go faster than 100kts. 
Finances will (as with most everybody else) be an issue, so I'm drawn to the RV-9 because of being able to use a small, less expensive, fuel efficient engine. Right now, my thoughts are on a Jab 3300, owing to the reasons I just mention.
In any case, I was wondering if anyone in the southern wisconsin/northern illinois area (I live in Janesville and work in Rockford) has an RV-9 that I could come and look at. I'm just trying to get a look and see what it's like. Pictures are one thing, real life is another.
I didn't make it to Oshkosh this year unfortunately...
