Hi all,
I have waited for years to be financially able to build my own plane and am now just a couple of months away from being there. With that said, I am really starting to get serious about which plane to build. For a long time I have considered a -12 and have flown in one. It was great and I would probably be very happy in one. I also like the -9a but have not flown in one but would like to.
My mission is this. I would like to be able to fly a combination of local and long range trips with my son. I realize the -12 is probably better for the local trips and the 9a being better for long range but both types of trips can be done on both planes.
I would like to politely ask if there is a person in the Dallas area that can give me a ride in there 9 or 9a so I can see which one I like better. I am more than willing to pay for fuel ect....
