I'm confused. The rivet call out on print 28A calls for 870 rivets for the 897 front gear support, but the book calls for countersinking the 897. It probably doesnt make much difference since the rivet heads are so far forward, but what hove some of the rest of you seen?

I riveted the 897's to the 890 floor skin with 470 rivets per drawing 28A. They shouldn't interfere with anything and the round heads aren't very visible in the cockpit since they are right behind the firewall.

I have the standard adjustable rudder pedals. Maybe the rails for the ground adjustable pedals require flush rivets there.
