Anyone got this #? I want to see if it will fit in my garage.

Van's specs the -8 at 24 feet even. If I remember correctly, the tips add 1.5 each...so without the tips you're looking at 21 feet.

I got my wings on (7A) with no problem. A little tight but doable.

My garage is 19.5 x 21 feet.

21 feet fits with my recollection. I've got the original style tips, at which time the span was 23 feet. I've measured those tips at very close to 12" each, which matches up with 21 feet with the tips off.

If you plan to install the wings in the garage, you need some additional room during the installation process, as you must slip the main spar into the fuselage.

I think the big opening in the front of my garage will cover the extra space needed for spar insertion. Thanks for the heads-up though.
