Can somebody provide me with their rear stick length and how they measured it. I would like to get mine cut and installed prior to getting the front seat in. Thanks, Tom
Geoff,
I also have the aero classic auto style seats. I have not yet installed them so your post was the first that I have heard about the problem of interference with the aft stick.
Do you think it would help to put a bend in the stick?
I'm facing the same problem right now. There are two complications that are immediately apparent mainly because my workspace does not have enough physical space to be able to install the tail group. #1. I am installing a second Infinity grip so the rear seat stick will have to be cut down somewhat to clear the back of the front seat. The grip's wire bundle must be run through the stick so putting off installing the grip till later will only make it much harder to retrofit, run, and hook up its wiring. #2. Without the tail group installed, it is difficult to determine exactly what is the limit of forward stick travel before the elevator stop is contacted. Can somebody provide me with their rear stick length and how they measured it. I would like to get mine cut and installed prior to getting the front seat in. Thanks, Tom
So my question is this: How far forward will the stick really travel before it contacts the elevator stop? Knowing the answer to that question will help me determine (to some ballpark extent) how much to cut down the rear seat stick.
