Call Van's support line, they are very good at clearing things up like this. My kit has had a few punched hole errors and they always send me replacement parts quickly. Your "missing " hole should be easy to resolve though.
At this point, I'd suggest also looking at the service bulletin and fix kit for possible cracking at the hinge mounts. I added the reinforcing plate on my right wing because it was still open and easy to do.
