I made this out of .025 Alu. Soft and easy to bend . The iPad just slides in andI used the soft Velcro to cushion where the iPad touches the mount , the friction holds it in even while doing Rolls ! It has three screws in the bottom of the panel to hold the mount /hinge area. I used Velcro to hold it upright to the panel . Works Great ! And I still use my Garmin Area 560 for when I don't feel like using the iPad mini .
