Fernando, I just looked at my globe and saw that Ecuador is about 2400 miles to the north of Santiago...34 degrees.

Saint Aviation/ITEC has an RV-10 construction facility there, where owners can build the basic airframe, with help, in 4 weeks. Is it possible to fly there, through Peru and on the west side of the Andes mountains, in your -8?
