Just curious how everyone else has bent their FL-406A to 88 degrees from 90...

I am thinking mounting the large part in a vise and tapping on the smaller flange with a hammer to achieve this slight bend...

Thots...?

I do not remember this item off the top, but yes 2* is often done with a peace of wood and a good sized hammer. Just don't hit it hard or try to stress crack it, no matter what it is. Hope this helps, Yours, R.E.A. III #80888

Bend

Several parts get these little bends.
I usually put them in a padded vise, measure starting angle with digital protractor, calculate the target angle then gently bend with wood block and hammer till I hit the target.
