Hi,

This request is also in my other thread, but I wanted to start a new thread for greater visibility.

I've got one of the new matched-hole fuselages. The fuse appears straight, the longerons are straight, and everything fits well. EXCEPT--the front seatback weldment. It's ~3/8" too narrow. Van's says to stretch it, but before I do that I would like to know how wide the typical RV-8 fuselage is at the weldment mounting feet. Specifically I would like the measurements between the weldment mounting plates immediately behind the aft and ahead of the front weldment mounting feet.

How about immediately below the most forward mounting holes, likewise the most rearward mounting holes, at the edge of the each weldment foot?
