Howdy all,
Question??? I have just about finished all of the fuselage riveting. I am at the point of pulling out the temporary blocks from the center section where the wing main spar slides into. After that I will have a few rivets to do that can be squeezed once the block is out. Is there any reason, I have to put the spacing blocks back into the center section, when all the rivets are done? Won't be mounting wings for a few months, but would rather not go through this headache if I don't need to...Thanks

I left mine in for a long time

They are great to use as foot steps when climbing in and out doing wiring, controls, etc. Also, I used mine to strap the fuselage down in the box truck on the way to the paint shop and back. Leaving them in can only help, protecting that precision spacing slot from any damage, use as a foot step, jacking point, etc.
