I've noticed that the flanges of the pieces that make up the roll bar are not perpendicular to the web. The flanges bend outward. Did any of you try to correct this before assembling the roll bar, or did you just move ahead and assemble it as-is?

If you're talking about the tip-up, then you need to get those flanges as square as you can. Keep in mind that the plexi will match up to the flange surfaces on the top. Clamp the channels to a flat table & use a square to check that the flanges are perpendicular to the table. I think I used used a combo of seamers & tapping with a plastic hammer to get them straight.

Yup they need to be squarer than supplied. I ended up clamping the parts to my bench and used a ball peen to help move the flanges along. JG
