While waiting for my RV-7 QB wing kit, I'd like to build a wing stand to hold the wings. The plans say use the nose rib as a template. Since I am unable to do that, any ideas on what to use for a template would be appreciated. Better yet, if anyone has a wing stand in mid to south Florida that they want to get rid of, I'd be happy to pick it up.

Hi Tom....

...a stand made of 2 X 4's works well and cheap to build. Build two upside-down Tees and interconnect them top and bottom with 2 X 4's, preferably on rollers as well. Come up about two feet with other 2 X 4's from the outboard ends of the tees. Attach a piece of carpet about 6-8 inches wide to the top of the tees and the two shorter pieces of 2 X 4 coming up from the outer ends and let the carpet droop into a saddle for the wings..it'll form to the leading edges with no scuffing or scratching.
