Does anyone have the width of the landing gear with aircraft on the ground. I am fixing up my shop to start construction and I am concerned that my door might not be quite wide enough to roll out the fuselage with the gear on it.

I have the same problem too with only a 6' door opening. However, I plan on attacking the problem by simply removing the gear and then reinstalling once it's out of the shop.

The gear is only held in with one 5/16 bolt bear gear leg.

I've got the same problem with my 8. I plan to "wiggle" it out by moving the tail from side to side and get one wheel out at a time. I'd love to make the door wider, but the walls are about a foot of concrete - and I'm renting.
