I have been saying for months that the tip over chatter has been pretty quiet of late. Stumbled across this one while looking for something else. Seems it happened at the airplane's home base. Don't get lazy out there, stick in the lap!

Note the accident report wrongly describes it as a "Tailwheel equipped" aircraft. Looks a nasty end, good that the pilot escaped unscathed.

Looks like it might have an "Antisplat brace".
Dont assume bad piloting as many tip overs occur at low speeds below 40 knots where stick position will not raise nose wheel.
