Hi!
I'm rebuilding a 6a tilt panel -- Does anyone know the dimensions of the deeper panel (the one where the bottom of the panel is equal to the air vents) ?? And if vans doesn't carry then who??
Thanks

Bob.... the RV-6 kits came with a blank sheet of alum. for the panel that only had the lower 90 degree flange bent. The builder had to cut out the panel to shape using the dimensions on sheet 35 of the plans.

IIRC, Vans had a panel "blank" that allowed about an extra inch of height - or you could just get a piece of 0.063 6061-T6 sheet, bend your own flange, and have any extra height you want....

For reference, the standard panel is 10 17/32 inch deep, and extends 2 11/16 inch below the top of the longerons.
