Anyone know what the weight and balance station for the prop is on an RV-6, standard IO-360 dynafocal ??? Thanks

Do you mean the arm for the prop?

My papaerwork showed the prop at 12.25" from the datum point.

Thanks Richard, Went to the hangar over lunch and measured - At the center of the blade chord (I am assuming that this is close to the props CG) I got 49 inches ahead of the wing leading edge which puts it at station 11".

I would estimate that 12.25" would be pretty close to where the prop hub bolts to the flange.

Depends where you are measuring from.

The datum point according to the Vans site is 60" forward of the leading edge. That puts it in front of the spinner. They do this because it makes all the measurments positive and easy to do. From that datum BACK 12.25" is supposidly the CG of the prop.

Your milage may vary as they say.

Are there not two lengths of prop hub for the RV-6s?

Van shipped two different cowl lengths originally...
