Well, I finally got around to finishing the wheel pants, leg fairings and intersection fairings. Painted them 2 days ago and installed them this morning.
I now pronounce this aircraft done..... with the usual caveat that "it is never done".![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I am proud to follow another "Buckeye" in this section, Jon Thocker. Looks like we both had Ohio State colors in mind when we dreamed up our paint schemes.
My wife and I took the "magic carpet ride" to Marathon Key as soon as we could. 6 1/2 hr drive from our house and a mere 1.2 hrs by RV (Well, it could have been faster across a lot of water but I decided to take the safer route)
Keep pounding them rivets.....it is soooo worth it.
