I visit North Bend Airport often and have seen the airplane doing touch and goes while I was there. It was an RV-6A. The only thing I know is the reports on TV news. Witnesses said the plane turned sharply then nosedived into the ocean. I have no other information.

I?m from North Bend and my brother still lives there, his sources tell us that it was being flown by Dan McKay and owned by Dock Holiway, I believe Dan is a member hear and has posted a pick hear of them over North Bend at very high altitude wearing oxygen masks, My Dad knows Dock I think, I don?t know either of them.
