This is a better pic than the first one I showed where the old purple and red is covered with a manly navy blue. Added a flag on each side of the vertical stabilizer and changed the N# from 1610P to 54RL. Maybe I should tell the FAA about that change :)

It sure is beautiful flying in the Colorado mountains.

Leadville certificate

Roberta, I got the certificate two years ago during my mountain flying course. This was part of the mountain flying indoctrination for a flatlander newbie grasshopper. He got his certificate and we both got coffee mugs. $22 t-shirts are too pricey! I assume that you have been there?

I was there in May, '04 with an instructor out of Centennial. I bought two shirts and got the cert. I got a photo behind the wall with the head hole. Hope to get back there soon. I had about 35 hrs on my 7A when we landed there. This was the start of my post Phase I shake down cruise. We went on to ABQ, Page, AZ, and the Grand Canyon (with flights thru Monument Valley). Great Trip!!! The plane was so squawk free during testing, I trusted it enough for this trip. Still is.
