I have a older set of preview plans for the RV4, 2007. will these be of any help with working on the 3..

Well, I think so. They clarify lots of little things. Whenever I'm about to start something new on the -3B, I refer to my RV-4 preview plans.

I regard them as an updated set of plans, compared to the RV-3B. They show a bit more detail.

In fact, I'd say that the RV-4 preview plans is a very desirable tool for building an RV-3B. It's right up there with the Vixen file. Well, almost, anyway.

I need to clarify that my RV-4 preview plans are from 2012 and include some updates that older sets might not have.

So strictly speaking, I don't know how valuable an older set of RV-4 preview plans would be. But you can compare them for the same areas and see if you think they'll help.
