I'm in the process of jigging up the fuselage on the -4. I am installing the lower (upper in the jig) 1x1x1/8 angle between the firewall (F-401) and F-404. The angle of the Wd-403 is 101 deg, as is the bottom corner of F-404 and F-402. This appears to require that the 1x1 angle be widened from 90 deg to 101 deg. I tried using a press to widen my angle but I am dissatisfied with the result. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this 1x1x1/8 angle fit properly?

Van's sells F-450

Take a look at the Van's online catalog. If you're referring to F-450 they sell them already fabricated. I recall I made a drilling mistake on mine and bought a replacement set - now priced at $24.92.

If these are not the angles you mean I'm afraid I have no other suggestions!

I'm embarrassed to say I have both F-450's. After your post I scoured the garage and found at the bottom of the crate. I had forgotten all about them. Sure is a lot easier than creating them from scratch. Thanks for the help!
