I am trying to add a 5th point harness and hardly see any space to add any place to add the crotch strap bracket.

Anybody done that in their 3? Pictures would be helpful for me to get ideas.

I've added one to an "in-build" RV-3. Pester me if I do not post a photo in the next day or 2.

It goes in the obvious place - bulkhead aft of the stick. IIRC it was not 100% easy to make/fit something I considered adequately strong / stiff - and easier by doing it during the build. However, certainly possible.

As promised:

The issue I had was making the area stiff enough. You can hopefully see I have added some angle vertically behind the bulkhead for this purpose.

Not saying it is the only / best solution of course...
