The first thing I do after after a flight is check the oil level. It only takes about 3-4 revolutions to hear the "burp" and then check the oil level.

The next time I go to fly for reasons I am not clear about the oil level is the same without the need to "burp" the engine. After checking the oil level should I rotate the prop anyway to make sure there is not "hydraulic" lock ? Is that even possible in a Rotax engine? Does rotating the prop help lubricate the engine before the next start?
