J JBPILOT Well Known Member Oct 13, 2010 #1 I have found a way to stop scratches on the nose fairing when you take the lower cowl off. Put a piece of masking or painters tape on the side of the fairing. Just tack it enough to stay in place. Saves scratches. John Bender
