I just wanted to say thank you for the great response we have had so far to our RV-12 canopy lock. (http://aircraftspecialty.com/rv-12.html) I also wanted to provide an update. Due to popular consensus and demand, we are now only offering this canopy lock in one configuration. We now include 4 keys standard with all RV-12 canopy lock kits.

I'd really like to see something like this for the 9. I wonder how hard it would be to retrofit.
 
I wonder why the Mother Ship doesn't provide a canopy lock in the basic design. I incorporated a desk drawer lock into my ELSA after flying about a year. I just wanted to keep the honest people out of my cockpit on RON's.
