Thinking about going light sport. I see Van's shows the RV-12 75% cruise speed is 116 mph. But that is true air speed at 7500'.
What would the indicated airspeed be down low?

Say you are at 2000' with the rpm's at 5000. You look at the airspeed indicator:
what does it show? Somewhere around 100 mph INDICATED?

:)Just to be completely clear, I am not asking about true, calibrated, ground or any other speed that would just confuse things.

Thanks

Got to get some speed Dude!

At 2000 feet MSL, 59F OAT, 1320lbs, 5450 RPM, 5.5 GPH = 120kts IAS. Must have all three wheel pans on including nose strut fairing. Just ticked over 100 hrs on RV12. Every thing the same except 5000 RPM = 110KIAS 4.8GPH

Thanks John, just the info I was looking for.
Looks like the pants/fairing are good for 7 to 10 mph.
