Hi - I'm trying to determine whether this electric tow (https://www.redlineaviation.com/cirrus/sidewinder-cirrus-aircraft/) will work with an RV-10 with wheel pants, and the Redline Aviation folks need to actually test it on an RV-10. Anyone interested in having someone from Redline do a quick test on their plane? They're in San Diego, so they'd come out to an airport in the vicinity. I can't say they'll give you a free tow device out of it, but who knows! Please PM me with your contact info if you've got an RV-10 in/around San Diego. Thanks!

There is no way it would work on my airplane, but we are supposed to fly to Montgomery tomorrow (Sunday) morning for a couple of hours and could make our -10 available to someone to look at.

Thanks but too short notice. Anyone based at Montgomery, Gillespie, or Brown? Why are you sure this tow wouldn't work on yours?

Why are you sure this tow wouldn't work on yours?

I have after-market wheel pants and the clearance is reduced. It might work but there is just not much tire showing in the front.
