Jesse Saint put out the word a couple of days ago that he was going to host a short notice RV-10 fly in barbecue lunch. It was an absolutely beautiful day in central Florida, so off I went with a buddy in the right seat for the 30 minute flight to X35.
There were six or seven -10's there and one lonely 7A. Met some really nice people, had some great food, and saw some beautiful airplanes. A couple of notes on this slideshow. There is one photo of the newest member of the Saint family. Jesse has a beautiful family!
There are also a couple of photo's of a roadable (is there such a word?) powered parachute that Saint Aviation has built. It will get it's airworthiness inspection tomorrow. We were treated to a demonstration of this cool machine in the road mode. Rumor has it that it will go 90 mph on the taxiways! It has a separate drive mode for ground and another for air. Looks like a lot of fun!
