I was fitting my brake mounts and wheels tonight. Went to screw axle nuts on and they are really tight. Removed wheels, wire brushed axle threads, checked for burrs, lubed threads and tried again. One turn and they are too tight to go any further by hand. I'm afraid of peeling the threads off the nuts if I use any more force. The nuts on my 6A easily go all the way home with light hand force.

What have other -10 builders experienced here?

Thanks Todd. I'm catching up to you. :)
When is your V8 beast gonna fly?

Ross,
I just got the engine controller back from Tracy Crook at Real World Solutions. I probably won't be able to put it in until Friday and hopefully I will be able to run the engine on Sunday. The painter is taking way to long! He hasn't even started on the fuselage yet. If I would have known it he would have taken this long I would have done myself! I still have the wheel pants and a little of the baffling left on my part. I am still waiting on a new prop also.
