I'm installing the rudder pedals today on my RV7 and I noticed that the co-pilot's left pedal hits the cabin heater (F-782-C). The left pedals (WD-655L, which are aft in the F-6116 delron mounting blocks) move side to side approximately 1/4" and if I push the WD-655L over to the right it clears the heater.

I thinking about putting a washer in the left F-6116 block to prevent the pedal from moving to the left.

Has anyone run into this problem and if so, how did you correct it?

Indeed

I am usually a gawker that just absorbs all I can. So I have been waiting intently for the variety of solutions I am accustom to regarding this issue as I suffer from the same ailment.

Since no replys to date I thought I'd kick it back to the top and see what happens.

Perhaps rare or de minimus is this condition?

Andy.
