I have Just been installing my ground adjustable rudder pedals on my -8. I got to thinking that if you are in cruise with your feet resting on the floor or on autopilot, what keeps the pedals from falling back and the cables going slack? Or is that normal? I have never flown in an RV. Thanks

Cruise

In cruise there will be a very slight amount of slack in the cables, but the pedals will still be in position. No worries,

I put some light springs on mine. Either way is fine.
