I need rudder extensions, through the forum I found the M.L. Skunk Works extensions that look perfect. I have been waiting 9 months for the delivery.

Does anyone know of another source of rudder extensions? I am 5' tall, with tailwheel I really need them!

I bought the RV9 2 years ago, transitioned from 18 years of nose wheel! I definately have the RV grin. Shauna

I had a machine shop make rudder extensions for my RV9A. Gave them the radius and length of the pedal and the height needed (5/8"). The outer radius was knurled. My interest was in reducing any tendency to ride the brakes. I attached with 2 #8 screws threaded into the pedal. They have worked fine for 350 hours and cost around $50. If the height was substantially greater than 5/8" I would question the attachment method. I would think most problems with length of torso would be solved with placement of pedals and seat during construction and post construction.
