Soliciting some opinions.
This is what my rudder cable fairings and their future attachment spots look like:

Looking at all these holes, I wonder if I want a doubler plate here? Maybe, make it cover that #8 hole for the clamp, too?
On the other hand, there shouldn't be much load on these fairings, so maybe no need to overcomplicate things? Rivet nutplates to the skin and call it a day?
