F FNG Member Feb 6, 2019 #1 I just bought a RV-9A. It has an O-320 A2B and three bladed Cato FP prop. The rpm at 55 knots on takeoff roll is only 2150RPM AT 10*C and 1200 pressure altitude. Is this normal? I?m not certain it is developing full power. Thanks.

I would expect someting in the neighborhood of 2150 RPM static, but would expect it to be a bit higher at 55 knots. If you cruising at 8000' what is the max RPM WOT and ROP? Larry
