Vans has us drill these big holes in the fwd portion of the seat ribs where they meet the center section, supposedly for future flexibility in routing wires. Has anyone actually used them and successfully routed the wires across the big control column attach bracket (shown in gray in the picture) without any potential interference with the movement of the controls?

I'm down to routing the last wires (the strobe cables) and running them here just aft of the center section seems to give me the best options for crossing the center tunnel to get to the opposite wing. I think I can do it by securing the cables low beneath that bracket with adel clamps on the ribs, but maybe I'm trying to do too much in too little of a space.

Any ideas or pictures showing how you got around that attach bracket would be appreciated.

Thanks.
