I have an RV9 Quick Build sitting on dollies on my floor. I would like to get it up on a rotating stand.

Can anyone give me a link to someone that has done this?

Thanks

Duane

Duane,

I sell the stands and have them ready to ship.

Stands

I have a set of his stands and I can't think what I would do without them.I am attaching the empennage on my 9A without them and have had to do some in foward fuselage work ,standing on my head ,and I realize the importance of the stands. Well worth the expense.

How about turning it on its side?

I've been getting tired of hopping in and out of my QB fuselage, standing as it is on sawhorses. I'm thinking of turning it on its side while I'm stuffing the inside of the fuselage.

Has anybody done this? The sides seem flat enough that it would be steady, but I haven't tried it yet.

Regards,
Martin

I have bought the rotating stand that Jeff sells and am VERY happy with it. In fact, it allowed me to find some FOD that was left in the QB fuse from the PI. Rusted clecos, bits, assorted rivets, etc.

The stand allows easy access to all parts of the fuse and makes things much more comfortable. Maybe if I were in my early 20's it wouldn't be such an issue, but approaching 40, I can FEEL my age now. :(

I would recommend Jeff's stand to anyone.

Take care,

Jim
