Hi Guy's
I'm setting out the roll bar for my slider canopy and note that the base on the right side is splayed outwards (clockwise) about 2 degrees.
(if only I could work out how to post images)
I have attempted with moderate success to twist it back to the correct angle, however, that baby sure has some torsional strength and I think if I go further, I'll distort the webbing that supports the bar.
At the risk of generating the "swiss watch, tractor" analogy, if I install the splayed forward corner at the required distance, 7/32 from the fuselage skin, it will bring the aft end 11/32 inboard.
Is the 1/8 going to introduce any significant issues when it comes to fitting windscreen and canopy frame; should I install the aft end at the correct distance or; should I split the diffference
Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated
