My upper gear farings don't fit tightly to the bottom cowl. The gap is less than 1/8th" at the front, so it just needs a little tweaking. What's the best way to reform the cured fiberglass?

Hi Procoach,
You didn't say which airplane, but 1/8" seems could easily be taken care of with a heat gun IMO, and hold it in the new position until it cools.

The fit to the gear leg fairings takes some more time

Hey ProC,
As the Brits say...."When you feel that it isn't 'fighting' anymore", is enough heat. Just enough to make it yield and you'll feel that if you apply pressure in the direction you want it to go, while you heat,
