This is likely a dumb question and I haven't done any research other than to ask; (I rely on you good people for a reason)

Is a repairmans certificate type specific or airframe specific?

Meaning, I'm building my -10. I will eventually be qualified on it. But is that qualification for my specific plane or all -10's?

You can work on any experimental airplane right now. Today. Anyone can.

The repairman's certificate enables you to sign of the condition inspection for the exact airframe that you built.

The back side of the repairman certificate has a limitations box where the aircraft make, model, serial number and date are listed. Repeat offenders could have a pocketful of repairman certificates.
