I am looking for some help about a
repair station that can help a friend
out.

1959 Apache

Has an AN style AI that also has the
auto pilot hooked to it.
It is antique but is trying to keep the
plane original.
It is about 4-4.5 inches in width. (HUGE)

Lookin for some help if anyone knows of
a place to fix.
The part is in Chickasha OK.

Thanks,
Boomer

If it's hooked up to a Tactair AP, you will have to first send the gyro to the guy in Ohio who handles the AP part to have the AP pickup overhauled and then send the unit to a instrument house that can do the AN gyros for the gyro part.

I had this done on my Debonair and the total was something like $600 total.

Althought the old vacuum AP's work OK, I have since replaced the it with a S-TEC
unit.
