My wife and I plan to relocate to the Northern suburbs of Indy in the next 12 to 16 months when I retire. Of course now the important question is we’re to base my RV6 that I have been flying for 13 years. I’m looking for suggestions on airports with hanger space and a good community of aviators, especially ones with RV’s or other Homebuilt’s. I’m currently on a private grass strip so I’m amenable to them or paved. Any leads/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure about the Indy local area but I live about 60 SE of Indy Andy hangars are few and far between.

Greenwood is a nice FA airport I’ve used multiple times and know RVs have been based there

Indy Regional/KMQJ is the only Indy airport, that that I know of, where you can get a hangar right away. PM sent
