New registration applications are generally processed quite quickly (about 3 weeks, or less).
Other registration activity such as transfers, have been much slower by comparison.
I know of instances where it took nearly a year.
I believe the FAA was mandated under some of the recent federal legislation to work at greatly reducing these processing times, but I’m not sure what they actually have them down to at this point in time.
