Used 27R (Eldorado, TX) twice for fuel stops this week with x-country between HOU and SRR. Very satisfied with unattended self-serve 100LL at good price for Central/West TX region. No fees for landings and tiedowns. Combo door with VFR squawk code. Honor system soft drinks, candies, wifi, computer for weather, and two courtesy vehicles with keys on lanyards. Seems like a great place to buy fuel, wait out weather, sample local food and accommodations. I'd like to find more GA fields like 27R.
