My accelerator pump is leaking when throttle is reduced. It has 860 hours on it.

I enjoy rebuilding carbs but have never done a Marvel. Do most of you guys rebuild your own or send it off to be redone?

I rebuilt my carb when I did the engine before my RV-6 made its first flight 14-years ago and again when I had 2,200 hours on the airplane. It was easy for me.

bring it down and let dan help you with it. He's done a bunch of them... in fact, we need to rebuild the carb on my cherokee, it's an O-320 marvel carb as well. We could have a carb rebuilding weekend.

Yeah, it makes a quadrajet look like the worlds most complicated carb for sure.

Just a tip. For carbs that need a 7/32 float level. The old needle is exactly 7/32 and makes a great float level checker.
