There aren't many ready made holes in the -6 series for wiring runs and I am finding it difficult to keep the strobe wires from other sensitive stuff.

They need to get to a wing location somehow.

Anyone find any problem with a 3/8" hole for a snap bushing in one of these locations to run one of the strobe wires? I would duplicate it on the other side for the right wing. The center tunnel has a manual aileron trim cable and power wires on one side and will have a small hole for the autopilot bundle in the opposite corner.

You can check with Van's, but if it were me, I would just make sure I didn't drill the heavy bar.

Not a big issue.

Your 3/8" hole is not a big deal.
I would put it where it does not come within 1/2" from the bottom skin or the baggage floor, anywhere that you want it. Yes to the previous poster, you do want to stay away from the 1/8th" strap. You will want some sort of anti chafe grommet :D

In they go

Thanks for the reassurance! It will make all the other wiring easier.

I wasn't sure about the bulkhead being an acceptable solution.
I suspected the spar strips were off limits.
