Well, there have been a few threads on this topic here. This is going to be my attempt at getting some heat to my dear wife....

I've thought about a thin flat plenum to somehow squeeze air to the back. Good job. Thanks for posting.

Long a topic of discussion I know. A few people told me that the best way to approach this is not to get the hot air to the rear, but to keep the heat in- ie by reducig leakage around the canopy and insulating the interior so that you arent losing the heat.

I pretty much found this to be true.......by weatherstripping the canopy so it seals well and putting in a bit of carpet and some sound insulation on the sides it really made a difference. Of course the wife is a lot warmer now but I roast if I dress in a similar manner....! An added benefit is that it really quieted the airplane down.....amazingly more quiet now.
