RE:AN912-2

I have had to make an adjustment to the location my Dynon supplied fuel flow sender. The metered fuel line running from the ECi fuel pump to the throttle body is #4 hose. Therefore I need to reduce the inlet/outlet of the fuel flow sender from 3/8 to 1/4. I am going to do this by using an AN912-2 fitting. Now the rub. Van's/Spruce/Mcmaster Carr all sell this in Aluminium not steel. I would prefer steel as the location is FWF. So the big questions are: Where to buy the AN912-2 (steel) or just use the AN 912-2D (aluminium). I do know my hose fittings will be steel...................

Part numbers and sizes...

Guys... are we talking about the right part here?

The Dynon fuel flow sender is a female 1/4 pipe thread (NPT)

If you need to connect a 3/8 hose to it, then you need a AN816

They are available in steel from AC Spruce.

I believe the AN 816 -6 would do it in steel for a mere $3.80....:)

...or a AN 816 4-4 for a 1/4 hose/tube.

But our fuel system lines are usually 3/8 (-6) so I'm a little confused on the need for 1/4 (-4) fittings....

New ECi FI metered fuel hoses are 4........pipe thread is !/4 inch on the fuel flow sender so it appears I need an AN 816 4-4.

Thanks fo sitting this old guy straight!!!!!!!!!
